iPhone X camera versus Sony Alpha 6000

The other day, I went out shooting photos for my town’s Open Space committee report. I decided to shoot the same scene with two cameras – my new iPhone X and my Sony Alpha 6000, a compact mirrorless DLSR. On the latter, I used the “Superior Auto” setting, which is the most automated.

The ones in the photo gallery are essentially thumbnails. Click twice on them and you’ll get a much larger shot to inspect. Any photo caption ending in X in the large renditions after the first click indicates what you guessed – it was shot with the iPhone X. No X means the Sony Alpha 6000. You compare.
